General Manager

Fresh is on the lookout for a dynamic, people‑focused General Manager to lead day‑to‑day operations at New Orient House, our vibrant 184‑bed student accommodation community featuring fantastic social spaces, including a games area and cinema room.

What you’ll be doing

As General Manager, you’ll take full ownership of the building and lead a dedicated onsite team to deliver a safe, supportive, and welcoming place for students to call home. Your role will include:

• Setting the tone for a positive, collaborative workplace culture
• Proactively drive and convert sales throughout the year by working towards business‑wide KPIs, while motivating and supporting team members to achieve their targets.
• Ensuring residents receive an exceptional experience from day one
• Managing budgets, building performance, Proactively drive and convert sales throughout the year by working towards business‑wide KPIs, while motivating and supporting team members to achieve their targets.and stakeholder relationships
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and overall site success
• Maintaining a well‑run, compliant, and community‑focused environment

Your leadership will be key to making New Orient House a place where residents feel comfortable, supported, and part of a real community.

• Has proven experience managing a residential building or similar environment
• Enjoys problem‑solving and taking accountability
• Can remain calm under pressure and support their team to deliver great results
• Leads with positivity and takes pride in delivering excellent service
