About the role

As General Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind the success of Central Studios — overseeing all aspects of the building’s operations and ensuring a safe, friendly, and engaging environment for residents.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading and motivating a small on-site team to deliver excellent service

• Managing budgets, supplier relationships, and operational performance

• Maintaining high standards across health & safety, compliance, and resident satisfaction

• Building meaningful relationships with residents and supporting their wellbeing

• Ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and proactively solving any challenges that arise

About you

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in property, hospitality, or accommodation management (student housing experience is a bonus!)

• Organised and proactive, with great problem-solving skills

• Confident leading teams and building strong relationships with residents

• Customer-focused, passionate about delivering a welcoming, high-quality living experience

• Comfortable taking full ownership of a site and driving continuous improvement
