Our roles

We offer a huge variety of roles at locations across the UK and Ireland. Whatever your skill set, if you share our commitment to delivering the best possible customer experience then we are the company for you.

Central
Services

Our central services team is based mainly in our London and Sheffield offices. This includes roles in marketing, finance, health and safety, facilities management and IT systems.

This is where our processes and procedures are formed, strategies put in place and support given to our local teams. We're a collaborative bunch, with many of the projects we work on involving cross-functional departments. From providing clients with regular reports, to devising a new environmental policy, or putting together a bespoke marketing plan for a client, our Central Services offices are a hive of activity.

And don't expect to be stuck behind a desk, as depending on the role, there will be plenty of opportunities to get out and about, visit our properties and meet with clients and residents.

We also have fantastic opportunities for people on site at one of our purpose built accommodation properties. There's never a dull moment as our enthusiastic teams enjoy daily interaction with residents and get involved in a range of tasks.

From overall property and tenancy management, to budgeting, organising social events and community activities, and all in all providing a fantastic level of customer experience, our residents teams really are the face of Fresh.

We also couldn't do what we do without our teams of housekeepers and handymen (who by the way can most definitely be either men or women) who keep the properties clean and tidy and running like clockwork.

Our People

You've heard it from us, now hear it from the people themselves; here's what just a few of our fantastic team members have to say about working for Fresh.

Layla Alexander

General Manager

“I'm the General Manager for a 500+ bed student scheme in Glasgow. My role is so varied; covering a range of responsibilities to ensure the property is both a safe and fun place to live. On any given day I could be doing anything from attending a local housing fair, to collecting rent, fire-alarm testing or hosting a social event for students on site.

During my time at Fresh, I have grown so much as a manager. Running a property of this size requires a range of skills, but most importantly, working as a team is essential.

This is my favourite thing about the role; working alongside a passionate team, who care so much about the students who live with us and are focussed on ensuring their experience is the very best it can be.”

Amy Simpson

Commercial Services Co-ordinator

“In my role I'm involved in various aspects of a new property as it moves from concept stage through to mobilisation and then an operational property. This includes everything from reviewing the overall property layout, interior design, directional signage and then any statutory or planning requirements as set by the local authority; management & travel plans, and licencing.

The role has given me a much broader understanding of everything involved in the property design process, and the team around me is great too. I love the people I work with and having the variety in what I do helps get the best out of me.”

Paul Milnes

Head of Maintenance (North)

“As Head of Maintenance, I oversee a variety of areas, from health and safety, to contractor relationships and procurement, to energy-saving initiatives, budget control and planned maintenance.

In my role I need to successfully meet the needs of a broad range of clients often with different priorities. Working here has really broadened my understanding of facilities management, both technically and from a customer-focused perspective. Since joining the organisation I've gained a NEBOSH qualification and undertaken Continuous Professional Development (CPD) days in fire prevention and passive fire protection.

It's one of those jobs where getting up in the morning isn't an effort despite the challenges. Everyone at Fresh, from site staff through to the Directors of the business, are all focused on delivering excellent service.

It's just a great place to work, with supportive people all wanting to achieve positive outcomes.”

Louisa Herrero

Senior Policy Manager

“I originally joined Fresh as an Accommodation Manager, but when the chance came to further expand my skills and develop my career with Fresh I relished the opportunity.

My current role is to create all of the policies and procedures we need to ensure that our properties run like clockwork. With so many schemes around the UK and Ireland, having these in place means that everyone is working to our high standards, maintaining our excellent reputation and protecting our brand.

Everyone here is so friendly and keen to support you in progressing your career and continuing to learn. I have been provided with several opportunities to develop and experience new areas of the business and I'm currently working towards a qualification in Lettings and Property Management. I just wish I had joined Fresh years ago!”

Charlotte Fox

Office Manager & PA

“My main responsibilities as PA include diary management, booking meetings, preparing presentations and taking minutes. As Office Manager I also ensure that all of our compliance testing is up to date, plan team building exercises, manage budgets and I’m the first point of contact for staff and customers contacting the Central Services office in Sheffield.

What I love about Fresh is the people, the atmosphere, and the unexpected. There’s always something to get involved in or a new scheme coming on board to bring exciting challenges and opportunities. I’m certainly never bored!”
